Coggeshall Christmas Chocolate Tombola Success!

A huge thank you to everyone who made this year’s PTA Chocolate Tombola at Coggeshall Christmas such a fantastic success. Together, we raised an incredible £842.56, which will go directly towards supporting our school and enhancing opportunities for the children.

This achievement was only possible thanks to the wonderful community effort:

• Children and families: Thank you for all the generous chocolate donations. From bars to boxes, your contributions ensured we had an amazing variety of prizes on offer.
• Parent volunteers: We’re so grateful to those who gave their time to sort through the donations, attach raffle tickets, and prepare everything for the day.
• Storage helpers: A special shoutout to the people who kept the stall items safe and organised in the lead-up to the event.
• Tombola volunteers: Running the stall on the day was no small task, especially given the last-minute changes, and your enthusiasm made it a real highlight of Coggeshall Christmas.
• Adam at Coggeshall Catering Company: Thank you for kindly lending us your tables, which were perfect for displaying the prizes.

Due to Storm Darragh, all outdoor stalls had to move indoors at the last minute, and the entire event shifted to Plan B. The incredible volunteers and organisers worked tirelessly to ensure the festivities could continue in a safe and welcoming environment. The atmosphere remained vibrant and full of festive cheer despite the weather.

The chocolate tombola was buzzing with excitement, and it was wonderful to see so many happy faces winning their treats. It was a true reminder of how special our community is and what we can achieve when we come together.
