Postcard Art Auction

Bid in the auction

We’re thrilled to announce a brand new fundraiser – an online postcard art auction! This exciting event celebrates creativity while supporting our school. It will bring together art enthusiasts, parents, and the wider community for a unique and inspiring experience.

The auction is NOW LIVE on eBay – it began on Sunday 5th October and it will end on Sunday 12th October.

Please go and take a look and place a few bids. We need to raise much-needed funds for the school and this gives you the chance to own a beautiful piece of art at the same time.

Postcard exhibition

We held an event launch for the postcard auction in the Keys Room at Coggeshall Village Hall. Postcards were available to be seen but some guessing was needed around who made what!

What is the Postcard Art Auction?

The auction showcases postcard-sized artworks generously donated by talented artists, parents, and even students. Each piece is anonymous until after the bidding, allowing participants to focus purely on the art itself.

Why an auction?

This initiative isn’t just about art; it’s about making a difference. Every penny raised will go directly to St Peter’s School, helping us fund

How can you get involved?

  • Bid: place your bids during the auction and take home a one-of-a-kind piece of art
  • Spread the word: help us reach more people by sharing this event with friends and family. Perhaps you know someone who might be able to donate a piece? Or someone who would like to place a bid?

How much do we need to raise?

We aim to raise approximately £500. While the school is preparing for a planned expansion programme, it won’t cover essential updates the building needs. Additionally, there’s always an ongoing need for supplies, resources, and enrichment activities to benefit the children.

Who are the artists?

While it is anonymous in that you won’t know who has made which piece of art, we have shared below some of the names of those involved. We’re hoping this will help to encourage others to get involved and may give you some clues to help you focus your bidding!
