A Festive Success: School Christmas Fayre Raises £1908.01!
Our school Christmas Fayre was a tremendous success, raising an impressive £1908.01 to support our community. Despite the wet and windy weather, the event was filled with festive cheer and exciting activities for all.
A standout highlight of the fayre was the hall filled with Year 5 and 6 games, which alone raised an incredible £888.11. The creativity and effort put into these games were truly remarkable. Another crowd favourite was the Year 3 and 4 jam jar tombola, which proved so popular that all the jam jars sold out before the end of the day, contributing a fantastic £194.40.
In addition to the games, there were plenty of treats to enjoy. Tuck was on sale, and Adam from Coggeshall Catering generously provided hot dogs, with all profits going directly to FOSP. Adding a new twist to the event, we welcomed Tipsy Bubbles, an amazing mobile bar that added a touch of sparkle to the fayre.
The success of this event wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our volunteers, donations for the stalls, the children for producing such creative games, and the enthusiasm of everyone who attended. Thank you all for making this day so special.
We’re already brainstorming ideas for next year’s fayre, so watch this space!
