Get ready for an exciting summer term with FOSP
We’re thrilled to share the exciting lineup of events FOSP has planned for the upcoming summer term! With your support, we aim to make this term as fun-filled and successful as ever. Here’s what’s coming up:
1. Spare Change Bottle Challenge – 16th – 26th April
Fill up your class spare change bottles by 26th April with any change you can find. Every penny counts towards supporting our school so dig deep behind sofa cushions or at the bottom of bags – the winning class will get a treat to be chosen by their teacher.
2. Summer Disco – 26th April
Get your dancing shoes ready for our Summer Disco! It’s set to be an evening of music, glitter, dancing, and laughter for the children. Please remember to send your child in with £3 taped to a card with their name on it as well as a water bottle. It can get sweaty in the school hall when they let loose! Please also note, no phones are allowed during the disco.
3. Non-Uniform Day – 10th May
A chance for the kids to ditch the uniform and dress in their favourite casual wear, whether it is a sequinned top, football kit or whatever they feel comfortable in. We kindly ask for a small donation of £2 towards FOSP to participate but it is also completely optional – we know some children want to opt-out and that is absolutely fine.
4. Inflatables Day – 19th May
Back by popular demand, our Inflatables Day promises to be a blast! Join us for a day of bouncing fun and games. We’re also looking for match funders to help make this event even more memorable. We will have plenty of food available to buy and a bar with a great selection of drinks – no alcohol can be brought onto the school field unless it has been purchased from the bar. We will be in touch soon regarding volunteers!
5. Scarecrow Trail – 25th May – 2nd June
Embark on a community adventure with our Scarecrow Trail! Create your scarecrow masterpieces at home and display them Coggeshall. It’s a wonderful opportunity for families to get creative together. The theme this year is children’s book characters – we will shortly be sharing more information about where you can sign up. Maps will be available from Bakealicious, with voting on the back – once you have selected your favourites, you can drop this back at the library.
6. Father’s Day Stall – 7th and 14th June
Celebrate Father’s Day with our special stall! Children can choose from a selection of thoughtful gifts to surprise and delight their dads, grandpas, or special father figures. Please remember to put the class details for all of your children when buying gifts.

For our upcoming summer term events, including the highly anticipated Inflatables Day, we will need the support of enthusiastic volunteers to ensure everything runs smoothly and everyone has a fantastic time. Inflatables Day, in particular, requires hands-on help with setup, selling food and drink and clearing up. Simply giving us an hour of your time makes a big difference in creating memorable experiences and allowing us to maximise the funds we can raise.
If you’re interested in volunteering or would like more information on how you can contribute, please reach out to us. Together, let’s make this Inflatables Day and all our events this term a resounding success!
