Last year in numbers: £23,000+ raised for St Peter’s

We set ourselves a target of £20,000 for this school year… but we managed to raise over £23,000 – and that’s not even counting the 150 Club!

This was despite two discos instead of three and Inflatables Day never happening. Not a bad result!

How we got there

Fireworks night was again our biggest single event, bringing in just under £8,000. The Christmas period was a strong run across several events. The Christmas Fayre raised £1,695, the present stall topped its target at just over £1,000, and Christmas raffles raised another £447. The personalised cards and gifts, which we weren’t sure about, brought in £550 against a £200 target. The smaller things often add up for us throughout the year.

However, it wasn’t all big figures and results. The chocolate tombola at Coggeshall Christmas came in slightly under at £768. It was a popular stall, but just didn’t raise as much as it usually does!

What it goes towards

Every pound raised stays with the school. This year that meant all school trips fully funded, new laptops, play equipment, counselling and so much more.  With the building work now underway, there will be plenty to fund this year – which is why we’ve set the same £20,000 target again for 2026/2027.
